There is a dead tree in the public space at the southwest corner of Brewster and Tienken, just on the outer edge of the properties on Snowmass near some electrical and cable boxes.

I would like to know who is responsible for this tree and if it is the city, what is the process for getting it removed and replaced.

Thanks,
Christopher Cobb

Forestry inspected this site and found a dead ash tree behind 668 and 662 Snowmass. This is a private tree and the homeowner or the Shadow Woods Subdivision Association (if the tree is located in the commons area) is responsible for its removal and replacement. Forestry does not offer a tree replacement program for trees planted on private property.

If you have any further questions, please contact the Forestry Division at 248.656.4673.
